Replant disease (soil-borne diseases and eelworm) can only be eradicated by fumigation.

The method of injection with a ripper tooth and simultaneously covering the plant row with plastic was developed and has been perfected by Draslovka and is the most common practice as prescribed by all fumigant product suppliers.

Citrus

The Citrus Research Institute conducted fumigation trials in Nelspruit and Draslovka was their applicator of choice.

The results were presented at the Citrus Symposium held in August 2012. These results were received with great enthusiasm by the farmers and researchers alike.

Although we are confident in our pre-calibration and settings, we check our calibration 3 times per day.  The result of each of these calibration checks gets reported to management directly as soon as the check is done.
